Date rollup is available for Business and higher accounts. Regular users can enable and disable date rollup.
Instead of manually setting project dates, you can enable dates rollup. Wrike will automatically check the start and end dates of all subprojects, tasks, and subtasks within the project and set the earliest start date and the latest end date for the project.
Once you enable rollup for a project, the project’s dates will be set automatically and you’ll no longer be able to change them manually. If you or other users change the start date of the earliest task, subtask, or subproject or the end date of the latest one, the rolled-up project dates will be adjusted automatically.
When rolling up dates, Wrike takes into account all the items in the project (even the filtered out ones).
Rollup can be enabled for single projects in their project info panel or for multiple projects in Table view.
From the project info panel:
Navigate to the relevant space.
Click a project to open its project info panel.
Use the three-dot menu button in the top right-hand corner and select Enable Dates Rollup.
Click Enable and Reschedule in the confirmation that appears.
To disable rollup repeat Step 3 and select Disable Dates Rollup.
This way you enable/disable rollup only for the project selected. Its subprojects don't automatically get rollup enabled or disabled.
From Table view:
Navigate to the space, folder, or project that contains all projects for which you want to enable dates rollup.
Switch to Table view.
Right-click or click the caret icon in the Start date or Due date column title and hover over Rollup in the drop-down menu.
Select Enable/Disable for all projects.
Click Enable in the confirmation that appears.
Dates rollup will be enabled or disabled for all projects that are currently in Table view.
