Overview

All users on all account types can change their password from their Wrike profile.

Each user can change their password at any time. To help protect your Wrike account we recommend changing your password regularly.

This page details changing your password if you know your old password. If you've forgotten your password learn how to reset it.

Note

Users in SAML SSO accounts don't have Wrike passwords and can't change them from their Wrike profile.

  2. Select Settings from the drop-down.

  3. Your Profile settings open by default.

  4. Scroll down to the Sign-in & Security section.

Create a strong password

A secure password would be a combination of upper and lower case letters, numbers, and special characters.

The following characters and symbols are supported in Wrike passwords:

  • Numbers between 0-9

  • Letters A-Z (lower or upper case)

  • Special Symbols: ! ” £ $ % ^ & * ( ) < > ? { } [ ] : ; ’ # @ ~ ¬ ` < > / \ | . , - = _ +

Remember that most common password types are insecure because they're too easy to guess:

  • The name of a pet, child, family member, or significant other

  • Anniversary dates and birthdays

  • Birthplace

  • Favorite holiday name

  • Sports team name or mascot

  • The word “password”
