Overview

All users on all account types can use Board view.

Board view allows you to view all the tasks in a project, folder, or space in a simple layout, which reflects their status. Within Board view you can:

  • Sort and filter tasks.

  • Change task status.

  • Change the default workflow.

  • Delete tasks.

How Board view works

Tasks appear as cards in Board view. You can:

  • View tasks from descendant subfolders and subprojects. Click the three-dot menu button in the Board view's upper-right corner and select Tasks from subfolders.

  • Collapse or expand a column. Hover over the column title and click the collapse icon. Click the title of a collapsed column to expand it.

Cards in Board view

Each card is displayed under that tasks status and displays:

  • Task name.

  • Folders/projects the task is in.

  • Assignee(s).

  • How many subtasks it has (if any).

  • Due date.

  • The number of days it has spent in its current status (optional). Click the three-dot menu button in the upper-right corner and select Duration in status.

  • Custom fields (optional). You can select which custom fields show up on a task card. Click the three-dot menu button in the upper-right corner and select the fields you want to display.

  • Attached images (optional). You'll see the image most recently attached to a task. To hide cover images, click the three-dot menu button in the upper-right corner and select Cover images.
