Overview

All users (except for collaborators) on all account types can make tasks recurrent.

To make a task recurrent, it must be tagged in at least one folder or project.

Make a task recurrent

  1. Open a task in Task view.

  2. Click the task’s three-dot menu button in the upper right-hand corner.

  3. Select Make recurrent.

  4. Use the pop-up that appears to specify:

    1. How often the recurrence should occur (daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly). It's possible to set a custom frequency.

    2. When the recurrence should start.

    3. When the recurrence should end (either on a specific date or after a specific number of occurrences). To specify an end date uncheck the box next to Limit to.

    4. How many tasks should be created upfront.

  5. Click Save.

The recurrence is created.

Note

You can have recurrences that repeat as many as 999 times and create a maximum of 60 tasks upfront.

Tip

When you opt for recurrent tasks to be created monthly or yearly on a specific day of the month you can choose to reschedule the task if this day turns out to be a weekend.
