Overview

Account admins and space admins on Business and Enterprise accounts can create request forms.

You can create dynamic request forms that include different questions and change the attributes of the task or project they create based on the answers given.

Trigger conditional status changes

When you create a request form you can set a status, which all tasks or projects it creates will have. However, in a dynamic form you can trigger a different status if a particular drop-down answer is selected.

Note

If you change to a status that isn't part of the default workflow, it'll change the workflow of the task or project created.

  1. Navigate to the request form builder for the relevant form.

  2. Add a drop-down question.

  3. Add all the necessary response options.

  4. Hover over a response option and select the branching icon on the right 1.

  5. Select Reset status to from the drop-down 2.

  6. In the pop-up that opens:

    • Choose another status from the default workflow 3.

    • If you have other workflows in your account, hover over Change workflow and select another workflow and status.

Click the Add action button to add other conditional branching actions to the same answer option if necessary (i.e., creating an approval). When you’re finished making changes to your form, click Publish or Save.
