Overview

Account admins and Space admins on Business and Enterprise accounts can create request forms.

You can create dynamic request forms that include different questions and change the attributes of the task or project they create based on the answers given.

Launch conditional tasks and projects

Normally a request form is set to create or duplicate a task or project. By setting up this option a different task or project can be launched instead, depending on a drop-down answer, checkbox, or importance option.

Note

Replacement tasks can only be added to request forms that will create or duplicate tasks. Replacement projects can only be added when a project will be created or duplicated.

  1. Navigate to the request form builder for the relevant form.

  2. Add a drop-down question.

  3. Add all the necessary response options.

  4. Hover over a response option and select the branching icon on the right.

  5. Select Replace task or Replace project from the drop-down.

  6. In the pop-up that opens:

    • Enter the name of the task or project you want to replace the original with and click it in the search results.

    • Click the Blueprint tab to replace the task or project from blueprints.

Click the Add action button to add other conditional branching actions to the same answer option if necessary (i.e., creating an approval). When you’re finished making changes to your form, click Publish or Save.
