You can use custom fields in Wrike to store various data related to your current work. Most users have the ability to create custom fields, so each folder, project, and space can have a lot of custom fields added to it. The custom field management panel displays all custom fields available in a certain location and allows managing all of them and creating new ones.
From custom field management, you can:
Review all custom fields available in the current location
Add or remove custom fields from the current location
Edit the custom field properties
Create new custom fields
Navigate to the folder, project, or space whose custom fields you want to view or edit.
Click the three-dot menu button in the upper-right corner.
Select Manage Custom Fields.
Option 1:
Navigate to the folder, project, or space whose custom fields you want to view or edit.
Switch to Table view.
Click the gear icon in the upper-left corner of the table.
Click Manage custom fields.
Option 2:
You can only use this option to open the custom field management panel of folders and projects.
Navigate to the folder or project whose custom fields you want to view or edit.
Switch to Table view.
Right-click a project or folder containing custom fields you want to adjust.
Select Manage custom fields.
The list of custom fields you see on the panel includes all fields that are:
Added to the current folder, project, or space
Inherited from its parent folders, projects, and space
Added to its subfolders and subprojects.
The information available on the custom field management panel includes:
Field names
Field types
Field creation date and the creator’s name
Source: Where the field was added
The project/folder/space where a field was added may be different from the project/folder/space where it’s visible. For example, if a field is added to a parent folder/project, it may be visible on all of its subfolders/subprojects, but its source, in this case, is the parent.
