Wrike views can be configured by all users on all Wrike accounts, provided they have full access to the relevant folder, project, or space.
Wrike views provide users with the ability to customize, filter, and save view settings to display the right workspaces for you and your team. Wrike views consist of Primary and Custom views.
In any folder, project, or space you can choose to make views visible for your team. This means that when this folder, project, or space is opened, the view option will already be visible in the views listed. You can also set a particular view as a default, meaning anyone opening the folder, project, or space will first see it in that view.
The views available as Primary views are:
List
Board
Table
Gantt chart
Files
Stream
Timelog
Workload
Analytics
Navigate to the folder, project, or space where you want to create a Primary view.
Click the + 1 button next to the views listed.
Select the view you wish to make a Primary view 2.
Your view is loaded and saved as a visible option for other users.
(Optional) Click the three-dot menu 3 next to the title of the view to Hide view or Set as default 4.
Primary views can be duplicated and saved as a new Custom view. Views created by duplication will have all of their parents configurations (sorting, filters, and columns in Table views).
Navigate to the folder, project, or space where you want to duplicate a view.
Switch to the view you want to duplicate.
Click on the three-dot menu icon next to the name of the view and select Duplicate as custom view.
Enter a name for your duplicate and click Create.
Custom views allow you to create and save multiple views tailored to a specific objective or work view. You can save view settings, such as filters and sorting, and share them with the team without duplicating effort. Custom views can be created with List, Board, Gantt Chart and Table views.
Navigate to the folder, project, or space where you want to create a Custom view.
Click the + 1 button next to the views listed.
Select Create custom view 2.
In the dialogue box enter a name for your view 3, select Public or Personal 4, and choose between List, Board, and Table view 6, then click Create 6.
Your view is loaded and saved as a visible option for other users.
You can apply filtering and sorting options to the view, click the three-dot menu next to the title of the view, and select Save to make them default. You can also click Restore to return these settings to the existing default for that view.
Using the three-dot menu to the right of the view’s name you can:
Delete the view
Rename the view
Set the view as default for that project, folder, or space
Duplicate the view (including the possibility to create a public copy of a personal view and vice versa)
Custom views of a particular folder and project can be pinned to your Home page, the same way that a folder or project can be pinned there for quick access.
To pin a Custom view to your Home page, navigate to the Custom view, and then click the pin icon appearing next to it's name in the top-left corner of your workspace.
When creating a Custom view you can choose for it to be public or personal. Public views can be seen and used by all users with access to the relevant space, folder, or project. Personal views can only be seen and used by the user who created them, and cannot be shared. Personal views are marked with a lock icon.
Permalinks can be copied to any Primary or Custom view. Clicking on a view permalink will open the relevant space in that view (provided that space is shared with the user).
