All users except for collaborators who have full or editor access rights can edit widgets.
When creating a custom dashboard widget you have control over a variety of settings. After a widget has been created you can edit them to keep your widget helpful.
Navigate to the dashboard that contains the widget you want to edit.
Hover over a widget and click the three-dot menu button that appears in the upper-right corner of the widget.
Select Edit.
From the window that appears, you can do the following:
Change the widget's title 1 and apply different filters.
Change the folders, projects, or spaces to pull tasks from 2.
Include or exclude tasks from subfolders and subprojects 3.
Change the sorting order 4.
Choose whether or not you want to display folder tags on the widget 5.
The preview window in the pop-up shows which tasks will appear on the widget 6.
Click Save 7.
Edits you make to widgets will be maintained for all users on your account regardless of who made the changes.
No, you can’t edit widgets created from templates (except for the Projects Widget, Files, Active Tasks by Assignee, and Tasks by Status templates), widgets based on search results, or widgets based on Analytics charts.
